Alistair Lenczner

Alistair is a highly experienced cross-discipline designer, delivering both architectural and engineering design solutions in collaboration with major architectural practices. A qualified chartered engineer, Alistair spent 13 years with renowned consulting engineer Arup developing innovative structural design.

Alistair later joined Foster + Partners to become a lead member of their architectural team for the new Wembley Stadium. As a Partner with Foster + Partners he led the design team for the prestigious Millau Viaduct in France and was instrumental in the Haramain High Speed railway stations in Saudi Arabia and the Slussen Masterplan in Stockholm.

Always keen to innovate, Alistair developed Foster + Partners’ proposal for an integrated infrastructure project in the Thames Estuary which features a major new hub airport for London and a high speed rail orbital around London.

Peter Ball – Advisor

Peter Ball

Peter has over 30 years of experience in the commercial property sector specialising over the last 20 years in investment and fund management.

As Head of Property at Sun Life of Canada he was responsible for restructuring the property team and implementing a revised investment process which under-pinned award winning performance across various client portfolios. Consistency of performance was recognised by awards including the Public Treasurers Investment Award 2000 and the Estates Gazette/Investment Property Forum Awards in 2000/2001.

Peter has direct experience of acquisition, asset management, development and disposal in the retail, retail warehousing, office, industrial and warehouse sectors of the real estate market.

Mark Abrahams – Advisor

Mark Abrahams

Before joining IAM’s advisory board, Mark co-founded one of the UK’s largest privately financed property asset companies. Essentially a peer-to-peer lender from 2009, the business was sold in August 2014 to private equity with a property backed loan book of more than £100m.

Prior to this Mark spent 17 years as an investment banker, most recently with JPMorgan (1995-2008) in the fixed income credit group as both a trader and team leader. He began his career in 1988 with Salomon Brothers (now Citigroup) trading sovereign and supranational debt.

Mark now spends the majority of his time as professional investor in a wide variety of businesses in the SME sector including commercial property development in the student and hotel market, residential development and investment across the UK as well as other property backed investments. He also invests in a variety of VCTs, EIS and SEIS opportunities in a business angel capacity.
